The Frank E. Brown Fountain Plaza, located in the center of campus, provides a meeting place for students to relax, study and hold events, including Springfest (which is an outdoor concert, cook-out and campus-wide party).

The annual Activities Fair, scheduled early in the fall semester, is also held at the Fountain Plaza and introduces students to the wealth of clubs and organizations available at R-MC.

Constructed in 1969, the Fountain Plaza was a gift from successful Richmond businessman and philanthropist Frank E. Brown.
