Blackwell Auditorium, Randolph-Macon Center for the Performing Arts, includes a large performance hall (Blackwell Auditorium) with seating for 639 and a smaller black-box theater (Cobb Theatre) with seating for 150.

The drama and music departments offer a variety of student productions in the Performing Arts Center and all are open to our students, faculty and staff, and the community.

In addition to our own productions, the Performing Arts Center also hosts many first-class cultural arts events throughout the year, including outstanding music and theatre productions, stimulating art exhibitions and lectures by internationally renowned speakers.

The Cobb Theatre recognizes the leadership gift of Edwin G. Cobb Jr. ’49.
